The Divine Sky Islands

Among clouds, ancient ruins, and floating islands in the sky, a story of ambition, fall, and redemption unfolds.

The Divine Sky Islands – Revenge Against Zeus, is a digital adventure and exploration game that invites the player to traverse an archipelago full of mysteries, fantastic creatures, and progressive challenges.

The player takes on the role of a rebellious angel who dares to defy Zeus himself.

While attempting to steal the legendary Divine Sword, he is expelled from the realm of the gods and violently thrown onto the floating islands below. Isolated and powerless, he begins a journey of reconstruction, discovery, and confrontation.

Each territory reveals new landscapes and experiences: the heat of an active volcano, the somber silence of Cemetery Island, the colorful lightness of the Sweet World, the density of the forest. By exploring these scenarios, the player collects skills, finds magical artifacts, overcomes obstacles, and grows stronger to return to the heavens.

The progression combines free exploration, challenges, strategic combat, puzzle solving, and encounters with memorable characters. With each island, new possibilities open up, inviting the player to experiment with different paths and test strategies. Offering a sensitive and immersive experience, balancing action, imagination, and overcoming obstacles.

Created collaboratively by fourteen teenagers with and without disabilities, the game was born as an inclusive, original production, valuing diversity, accessibility, and collective creativity.

Its development is part of the DuaGames Project, carried out at the Laboratory of Creativity and Human Development of the University of Vale do Itajaí, with funding from FINEP.
